This is OCuSOFT's answer to Avenova, but contains 0.02% hypochlorous acid rather than 0.01%. Don't get too excited - more is not always better! On the plus side, I have heard from many people for whom this product is doing a good job, so if you are wanting to experiment with other blepharitis products, this may be a good one to try.
According to OCuSOFT, hypochlorous acid products fall into an FDA category which can be marketed either OTC or by prescription. Avenova is prescribed, whereas Hypochlor is not. Make of that what you will, but please always remember to keep your doctor in the loop about what you are using!
Intended for cleaning and removing foreign material and debris from the application site including microorganisms, immediate care of minor irritations to the skin, cleansing minor cuts, minor scrapes and minor burns. It can also be used for moistening absorbent wound dressing.
